Hi Everyone!
I am so excited to post my first blog, and introduce myself to the world! For those who don’t know who I am, my name is Andrew! I am launching my wedding and event company, FÊTE & FINESSE. I am not sure where to begin, so here are some of the burning questions you might have, or might not, but I just want to answer for you:
WHO AM I?
Think of me as holographic glitter. It is made of an assortment of reflective particles of varying shapes, sizes, and color that, together, create something that adds sparkle or shimmer to any surface! Similar to glitter, I am the sum of many different experiences, that together, create, well me! I try to take all my experiences, and become someone who adds value to other’s lives. I’ve also been told, that similar to glitter, my friendship remains long after I've been around. (As you can tell, I really wanted to make this glitter metaphor work)
I am man, who loves parties. Planning parties, attending parties, or just listening to people talk about unique parties. I am planner. Organized, creative, detailed, a slightly PARTICULAR. But at my core, and I am a person who values connection, and the beauty of each unique experience.
WHAT DO I VALUE?
We throw parties to celebrate milestones. Everybody is unique, with varying styles and personalities, so a celebration is that moment to embrace your authenticity. Curating experiences that are valuable for your friends and family to celebrate you! How do we design something that is truly unique to you?
I believe in managing different personalities. That is at the core of my job. Offering exemplary customer service to not just, to you, my external clients, but to my internal clients, ie. vendors as well. I value teamwork. It takes a village sometimes :)
WHY AM I DOING THIS?
This is something I’ve always wanted to do! I finally decided to take the risk, and give myself an opportunity to succeed. I love planning and designing events. After 6 yrs in the industry, working in catering and sales, to working with various different event professionals, I have built a passion for this line of work, and embraced all the challenges of the job, because in the end, there is so much beauty in being able to assist in creating moments in people’s lives. Moments that last for a lifetime.
